Adult ministry opportunities vary during the course of the year:
Women in the Church
During the school year (September through May, roughly), the Women in the Church (WIC) have a monthly Bible Study and fellowship time on the second Sunday of the month at 4:30 PM (look for more information as the Fall term approaches). Recently, our presbytery (regional group of PCA churches) has restarted the Presbytery Women’s Ministry, and will be hosting a Presbytery-wide Women’s Retreat this fall.
During the Summer months, Kanawha Salines hosts a farmer’s market for the community, Thursdays from 1:00-5:00 PM (or until we sell out). We have locally grown produce (depending on what’s in season: green beans, corn, tomatoes, zucchini, squash, green peppers, cabbage, broccoli, cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries, peaches, and others), farm-fresh eggs, and homemade baked goods (like zucchini bread, brownies, cookies, pineapple upside down cake, German chocolate cake, miracle butter cake). Stop by to see what we offer, chat with the customers, and get to know the people of Kanawha Salines who give their time to spread God’s love.
100% of the proceeds go to fund ministry in the local community through the rest of the year.
